Julie (Andy) M. Andrejewski, 60 of St. Michael, formerly of Waseca, MN, died
unexpectedly Sunday, January 29, 2017.
Julie was born August 10, 1956 in Waseca, Minnesota.
Julie attended Waseca High School, and St. Cloud State University graduating with a degree in Health/Physical Education/Coaching where she played Varsity Volleyball, Basketball and Softball.
Julie worked as a teacher at Buffalo Community Middle School where she did some
coaching, officiating, and was the Activities Director while teaching Health part-time at
the “old Jr. High” for a couple of years. Julie had retired in the Spring of 2014.
Julie was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. She did get a chance to visit, and
enjoy the new Bank Stadium for the inaugural Vikings season there.
She enjoyed reading the newspaper, and doing the crossword puzzles regularly. She loved reading on her kindle that she had received from her co-workers, hosting fabulous pool parties, golfing, cooking and clipping coupons for her unique cooking style, occasional trips to casino, leisure trips up to Leech Lake, supporting local youth teams by donating money on pull tabs, as well as supporting Minnesota wildlife habitat by playing scratch-offs, as well as many trips to Florida and other warm climates.
She had a great personality and witty sense of humor. She loved her family more than anything and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her lifelong partner Connie Peters of St Michael, MN; her brother, James (Kris) Andrejewski of Woodstock, GA; sister Nancy (Bobby) Kelling, Waseca, MN; sister-in-law, Tammy Lancaster, Fleming Island, FL ; sister-in-law, Ronda (Paul) Iverson, Buffalo, MN; brother-in-law, Shawn (Megan) Peters, Buffalo, MN; nieces and
nephews,Jamie (Eric) Davies, Abby (Randy) Bartz, Erin (Tony) Taylor, John Andrejewski, Sagan (Curt) King, Dani (Alex) Dominguez, Andrew Iverson (special friend Bailey Brownlee), Madi, Karson, Carter, and Conner Peters; great nieces and nephews, Ryley, Brandon, Wyatt and Harper Bartz, Luke Davies, AJ Taylor, and father-in-law, Heye Peters Jr.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Andrejewski; sister, Vicki Andrejewski; mother-in-law Darlene Peters, and brother-in-law
Gary Lancaster.
A visitation will be held at Peterson Funeral Home in St Michael, MN from 4pm to 7pm, Friday February 3, 2017.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, February 4,2017 at Peterson Funeral Home.

I remember first getting started in Buffalo and briefly getting to know Julie. Her sense of humor and dedication to the kids and profession is something that I will always remember. Julie was one of a kind! Thoughts are with Connie and the rest of their families.
I was very lucky to have Julie as a teacher at the old Jr. High. I have so many of her lessons still burned in my brain! Sending prayers of comfort and peace for the family.
Kevin and I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Julie through her sister Nancy Kelling. She was so full of life and had a smile that could light up any room. She will be missed dearly by all and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

From a 1993 graduate; I remember Ms. Andrejewski from many years ago. She had us work hard, answered any questions we had, and cared a lot about each one of us! Definitely a special teacher!
Jim and Nancy. I was so sad to hear of Julie’s passing.The memories of all you guys in your house on the corner a block away from us growing up. I played summer softball, HS basketball and ran track with Julie. She was ALWAYS the best female athlete we had in the whole school. I remember her pushing the guys around in 7th and 8th grade if they ever got smart with her. But mostly they all had a great deal of respect for her talents and wanted her on their team. She was nice to everyone and fun to be around. I have been a HS Science teacher in Lakeville the past 35 years and just retired like Julie. I am sure her students loved her. It is sad that she won’t get to enjoy her retirement years but she is in a better place now anyway. She has probably already organized a pick-up game of some kind in heaven !
