Judith Marie Daugherty, born on March 29, 1951 to James and Pauline (Sassman) Hern age 66 of Buffalo, MN passed away at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN on September 22, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Along with losing a beautiful soul, the world also lost the ground-breaker in the online shopping craze gripping the nation. Never one to shy away from a graphic t-shirt for any cause from representing her hometown of Detroit, to subtly insulting politicians she held disdain for, the stock prices of the comedic apparel market are plummeting with the news of Judy’s passing. Her giving nature manifested itself in countless donations a year, which were thanked with themed address labels. If you want your mail returned to Judy’s address please contact family. Her love of music spanned generations from Eric Clapton to Kid Rock to Sean Mendes. A notorious perfectionist, Judy was also proud to have graduated with a 4.0 GPA from NHCC in Social Work.

Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Patrick and Michael Hern.

Survived by her children, Natalina (Scotty) Garavaglia-Radley, Maria Garavaglia, beloved son-in-law, John Zitzloff, Shanna Daugherty, Sarah Daugherty, Guy ( Randi) Garavaglia and Layla Daugherty; honorary children, Lisa (Josh) Fox Johnson and Todd Evans; grandchildren, Jacob and Scotty, Justin and Jason, Layla and Lillian, Thomas,Taylor & Shad, and Kole.

Shanna & Family; I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Even though she & I never got to meet in person we became the best of friends due to you Shanna, the internet, telephone and mainly letters & cards for about 20 years. We also shared a mutual admiration of the Detroit Red Wings, and a great love for our families. I will miss Judy with all my heart. I hope she has found my Mom amongst the angels in Heaven and they have shared a hug with one another from me. Judy & I regretfully never got to meet in person but I hope to meet her someday in the afterlife.
Remember all the good times and happy moments you shared with your Mom. I’m sure they will bring a smile to your heart. Speak about her often and you will keep her memory alive.
My sincere sympathy to you Shanna & your other family members. God bless you all and may my dear friend Judy Rest In Peace.
