Judith Marie Patterson, age 65 of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Judy was born June 11, 1950 in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold Benard and Ruth Eva (Steinhilber) Bengtson.

Judy was baptized and confirmed in her faith at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Kandiyohi, Minnesota. She graduated from Willmar High School and furthered her education at Willmar VoTech. Judy worked for Honeywell until her retirement.

On June 10, 1972, Judith Marie Bengtson and Richard Stephen Patterson were united in marriage at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Kandiyohi, Minnesota. The two were blessed with a daughter and son.

Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo, Minnesota. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, baking, cooking, and time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Rich Patterson; daughter, Angie (Dave) Salo and their daughter, Melia (4); son, Adam (Lindsey) Patterson and their twins, Ava and Wyatt (10); siblings, Roger (Barb) Bengtson, Elaine (Dale) Wick; sister-in-law, Shirley Bengtson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron Bengtson.

Memorial service for Judy will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, 119 Central Avenue.
