On February 11, 2021, Joyce Katherine (Wurm) (Niesen) Clayton, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family.

Joyce leaves behind: loving husband, Jesse Clayton; children, LouAnn Klein, Sherry (Tom) Olson, David (Deb) Niesen, Julie Niesen; step-son, Steve Clayton; step-daughter, Robin; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Carol) and Keith (Sandy); sister, Dorthy (Jim); daughter-in-law, Terre Niesen; sisters-in-law, Sandy (Lyle), and Norma Jean Moody; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Niesen; parents; George and Sadie (Jansen) Wurm; sons, Tom, Bruce, Kenny; brothers, Dick and Morris; and sister, Rita.

The legacy of Joyce’s kind spirit and love will live on through family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo. Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. The family invites friends and family to join them for a luncheon following the burial back at the church reception area.
