January 20, 1956 – August 16, 2023

Joseph William Young, loving husband and father, passed peacefully on August 16, 2023 at the age of 67, with family by his side.

Born January 20, 1956 in Santa Monica, California to Jack and Patsy (Woolley) Young.  Joseph married Kim (Dupont) on October 6, 1990 in South Lake Tahoe, California.  They were blessed with two children while living in Paradise, CA., and moved to Buffalo, MN in 2006.  Joseph was a hard working and successful self-employed business owner for over 32 years.

Joseph enjoyed spending time with family, playing games, golfing, fishing, and traveling.  Joseph’s ability to find humor and laughter in anything was one of his greatest gifts to anyone surrounding him.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his wife of 32 years, Kim; daughter Kellina (Austin) Samuelson; son Matthew Young; sisters Mary (Scott) Kabrin, Sue Mawer, Renee Young, and Nancy Young; brother Christopher (Theresa) Young; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; and brother John R. Young.

In lieu of funeral services, an intimate celebration of life will be organized at a later date for close family.
