Joseph “Joe” Richard Casey, 62, of Montrose died suddenly in Bloomington, Minnesota Monday, June 16th, 2008.

In Howard Lake, William and Bessie (nee Sanford) Casey, on February 6th, 1946 was blessed with a son and named him Joseph Richard Casey. “Joe” loved fishing and spending time with his family. After becoming disabled, he also loved to watch his judge show’s-mainly “Judge Judy”. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was one of a kind! Anyone that had met him couldn’t help but like him.

He is preceded in death by parents: William and Bessie Casey; and siblings: Margie Seifeldt, Mary (Don) Klugow and Michael Casey.

Joe is/will be sadly missed by his loving wife: Joann (nee Willemsen) Casey; children: Lisa (Scott) Davis of Hosmer, SD, Shelly (Tony) Velde of Montrose and Bob (Carey) Casey of Montrose; grandchildren: Brittany, Breann, Kaylee and Lindsey; siblings: Pat (Gladys) Casey, Betty (Herbert) Krienke, and Thomas (Hazel) Casey; and many other relatives and good friends.

Joe’s Memorial Service will be Friday, June 20th, 2008 at 11am at Zion Lutheran Church of Buffalo. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
