It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joni Gale on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the age of 60 due to complications following surgery.
Joni was born the daughter of Lyle and Betty (Palm) Wiskow on October 25, 1957 in Roseau, MN. She spent her childhood in Baudette, MN and much of her adult life in New Orleans.
Joni was a talented artist. She designed and sold jewelry and was a published sketch artist as well.
Joni is survived by her mother Betty Curran of Buffalo, MN; son Adam of Brooklyn, NY; brothers Ronnie, Bryan and Allan Wiskow; also other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Amanda; father Lyle and brother Rory.
Funeral services for Joni will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at The Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Avenue, Buffalo, MN.
Officiating will be Pastor John Folkerds.
Casket bearers will be Andy Wiskow, Ryan Wiskow, Nicholas Felt, Dean Thompson, Steve Wiskow, Michael Wiskow and Duane Wiskow.
Luncheon to follow at the chapel.
Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Buffalo, MN.
