John Roger Swenson, of Buffalo, MN, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the age of 62. John was born in Willmar, MN, to parents Roger and Grace Swenson. John will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents: Roger and Grace Swenson and brother: Joel Swenson.
John is survived by his daughter: Jaclyn Swenson; grandchildren: Kameron and Tripp; sisters: Jayne Eberhardt and Julie Fox; nieces and nephews: Alyssa, Adam, Matthew, Marissa, Rachel, and Ethan; and several cousins along with aunts and uncles.
An open-house Celebration of Life will be held for John Swenson at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo at 119 Central Ave. N., Buffalo, MN on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Interment to follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pennock, MN at 11:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2026.
