John Jess Robinson, age 95, passed away February 24, 2011 in Park View Care Center in Buffalo, Minnesota.

John was born in Frazee, Minnesota on April 8, 1915 the son of David and Elizabeth (Meithof) Robinson. He lived in the Bryn Mawr suburb of Minneapolis for many years before moving to Buffalo 22 years ago. He was a 52 year member of the Minnesota and North Dakota Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union.

John is survived by his step-son: Willard (Barbara) Jensen; grandchildren: Bill (Martha) Jensen, Sue (Dave) Brown, Tina (Terry) Martin and Steven Jensen; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy Kelly and Nora Harmsen ; special niece, Darlene Maves.

John was preceded in death by his wife: Fern (Shanahan) Robinson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at The Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Avenue in Buffalo, Minnesota from noon until 2:00pm with a Service of Remembrance being held at 1:00pm the same day at the funeral home.
