My sympathy to all of the members of the Cross family. Jerry and his friend Al Jierle, in the 1940s, would come to Mason City, Iowa, in the Summer and visit Grandmother Cross. Jerry was a good man. God Bless.

Phyllis: Sorry to here about Jerry. Jerry and I worked together at GM for a long time. He will be missed by his family and friends. Strange how we lose connection and time flies by and then it is over.

Jerry played an important part in my life growing up. I was there quite often as I was best friends with his daughter. He has never been far from my mind as there are things a person does as an adult that trigger memories. For me, I remember being over there and he was always watching “boring” television shows. I would think to myself “How can you sit there?”. Well, now it is me sitting there watching “intelligent” television and it has made me think of him many times over the years.
