John D. Magnussen, age 89 of Hanover passed away June 29th 2019.
Was born in International Falls, MN. April 20th 1930. Preceded in death
by parents Beda and Peter Magnussen, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survived by loving wife Mary Ann (Terri ). Children Pamela, Randall (Brenda),
Jon, Christopher (Cindy). 6 grandchildren Brandon, Bridget, Mike, Amy,
Amber, and Kaycee. 4 great grand children Julian, Roberto, Marco and Aiden.
Many nieces, nephews, and friends. John served in the Merchant Marines.
Avid fisherman and hunter. A much admired wood turner. Also a very gifted
cabinet maker. Started and successfully operated Caprice Woodcraft. Helped
create and start Caprice Doorcraft.
A Celebration of Life Service Saturday July 27th 1:30-2:30 PM at
Peterson Chapel 300 Main Street N. St Michael MN. Fellowship and refreshments
to follow at Liberty Restaurant & Bar American Legion Post 567 25 Central Ave. E.
St. Michael MN 2:30-4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers please donate to the
Arbor Day Foundation or plant a tree in his honor.
