John Alan Klammer, age 70, of South Haven, passed away on Sunday, July 10th, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born January 11, 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Arnold and Myrtle (Solberg) Klammer.

He was formerly employed for 23 years at Ecolab in St. Paul. For the past 22 years, he has owned and operated In Time Sales.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, watching wildlife and nature, dancing with his wife, spending time with his family and hosting the annual family deer camp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Myrtle Klammer; and brother, Charles A. Klammer, a veteran.

He is survived by his loving partner, Audrey Hoglund of South Haven; daughter, Susan (Tim) Klammer Larson of White Bear Lake and a son, David John Klammer (special friend, Diane) of Circle Pines; grandchildren, Jennifer Lea (Will) Holte, David Alan (Erica) Klammer, Daniel Raymond (Taber Hanna) Klammer, Jake Kindsvater; 10 great-grandchildren; step son, Gregg (Maria) Fiorentino, step daughter, Angie (Jeff) Weeks; sister-in-law, Barbara Klammer; niece, Diane Elias, nephew, Jeff (Susi) Klammer; lifelong friend, Gary (Dee Dee) Berglund; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for John Alan Klammer will be held on Friday, July 15th at 10:30 A.M. at the Monticello Covenant Church in Monticello. Officiating will be Pastor Jane Spriggs and Pastor Kevin White. Interment Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday morning, July 15th.
Pall Bearers will be David Alan Klammer, Daniel Raymond Klammer, Tim Larson, Will Holte, Connor Holte, and Isiah Klammer.
