Joanne Catherine Tasche, age 57 of Buffalo, MN passed at her home on August 13, 2017. Memorial service on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 4 PM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment Delano Cemetery, Delano, MN.
Joanne was born on October 14, 1959 in Waconia, MN to Edwin and Grace (Rodgers) Drews. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and truly loved gardening.
Preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Grace Drews; brother Alan and nephew, Travis.
Survived by her daughters; Angie Tasche and Jennifer (Jon) Dickson; grandchildren, Tyler Tasche, Tristan Tasche, Lilyana Dickson, Thomas Dickson;great grandchildren, Ariel Gutierrez and Sophia Tasche; sisters, Lynn Drews, DeeDee (Bryan) Georges, Gail (Jim) Jerde, Carol (Earl) Jones and Laura Drews and special friend, Roger Bonk.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joanne’s passing. The memories of the time we worked together at the Howard Lake Clinic (decking the clinic out for Halloween, (her favorite!!) and our clinic camping trip) will be treasured. Prayers and deepest condolences to the family. 19274

I worked with Joanne at the nursing home as she was a very special person. So sorry for your loss. My husband Ray worked with her at WSI also said she was really nice. Have known the Drews family for many years. I lived in Delano for over 50 years.

I am so sorry to hear of Joanne’s passing. She was such a great nurse and friend to me and my husband, Steve, when he was going through his cancer journey.
