Jerry Thomas Carver, 66, of Waconia, passed away on October 28th, 2007.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Edward (Sandy) Carver, Lee Jr. (Jean) Carver, Donna (Roger) Johnson, Carol Anne (Dave) Jackson, John (Pat) Carver; many ohter relatives and friends.
Jerry was born June 27th, 1941 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lee Sr. and Edna Carver. He was the 4th of 6 children, having three brothers and two sisters.
Jerry lived at home on the the farm, by Waverly, and later in the Delano area, until he was 30 years old. Then he lived at Trevilla Care Center of Robbinsdale prior to moving to Waconia Good Samaritan in 1982.
As a child, Jerry was active with his family. He enjoyed playing softball and fishing. Jerry had a very special relationship with his Dad. Jerry and his Dad also enjoyed joking together and Jerry had a very hardy laugh.
Jerry was a 4-H member until his teenage years. He showed his calf, 7-Up, at the Wright County Fair and got blue ribbons on her 2 years in a row. He enjoyed the time the family spent at both the Wright County Fair and the Minnesota State Fair.
He live at the Good Samaritan Care Center of Waconia since December 1982. The family wishes to thank them at this time for the excellent care that he received.
Jerry’s memorial service will be Thursday, November 1st, 2007 at 7pm at The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo. Visitation will begin at 6pm.
Interment will be private service at Elmwood Cemetery of Rockford.
