Jeanette Marie Paulson, age 75 of St. Michael, MN, passed away January 20, 2019. She was born on April 29, 1943 to Ole and Edna (Helseth) Ness in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in Brooklyn Center, but graduated from Anoka High School with the class of 1961. Not long after high school, she began working for U.S. Bank, eventually becoming Vice President of Operations.
On November 3, 1962, Jeanette was united in marriage to Thomas Paulson at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Crystal, MN. Together they raised two sons, Tim and Tom.
Jeanette was the matriarch of the family, always providing and caring for everyone else’s needs. Her family and faith were her priority. Spending time with her loved ones creating memories was special to her. She was able to focus more on her family and friends after retiring from U.S. Bank in November of 2002.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Edna; brother, Gordy; great-granddaughter, Luella; and brother-in-law, Jim Sorensen.
She is survived by her husband Tom of 56 years; children: Tim (Marie) and Tom (Laural); 9 grandchildren: TJ (Anna), Tierney, Kaden, Teddy, Tyler, Carly, Kellyn, Alicia, and Carter; 2 great-grandchildren: Waylon and Emmylu; siblings: Arlene Wenz (Roland), Elaine Sorensen, Alice Ringen (Jim), Heidi Wosje (Jerry), Ollie Ness (Rosalie), Dave Ness (Nancy), Dick Ness (Joan), and Darla Ness; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM with prayer service at 7:00 PM at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior to the service at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, MN.

So sorry to hear of Jeanette’s passing. I had the privilege of working with Jeanette at First Bank Robbinsdale. She was always so knowledgeable and professional. And one of the hardest workers I knew. Again, so sorry.
Since hearing the sad news, my thoughts and prayers have been with Tom, and all of you… Jeanette’s family. I’m praying that God’s comfort will be very real and personal to each one, that you will see Jeanette whole and well in the presence of Jesus. I pray that the promise of a Heavenly family reunion will bring solace during this time of great loss.
