Jeanette Hentges, 76, St. Michael passed away on 12-7-13 at Guardian Angels, Elk River. Private funeral service for immediate family & close friends on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael. Visitation one hour prior to service at the chapel. Interment at Hanover Village Cemetery, Hanover, MN.
Jeanette was born on March 20, 1937 in Fairhaven, MN to Jacob & Ruth (Schoeppler) Tritbaugh. She married Alfred Hentges on July 6, 1956 in Osseo, MN. Following their marriage they lived in Osseo before moving to Corcoran. They moved to Hanover, MN where Jeanette worked for the Buffalo School District at Hanover Elementary School retiring after 25 years. For the past 13 years they have lived in St. Michael, MN. Jeanette truly enjoyed lovingly competing with Alfred in fishing & word search puzzles.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Ruth, twin brothers & one sister.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alfred of St. Michael, MN; daughters, Jackie (Paolo) Ferrante of Big Lake, MN, Peggy (Garen) Horejsh of Maple Grove, MN; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Rutherford of St. Cloud, MN & Roberta Hinz of St. Cloud, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
