Jean Smith, age 84 of Buffalo, MN passed away on August 8, 2013 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.

Memorial service on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Buffalo Covenant Church, 1601 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.

Jean was born on November 1, 1928 to Joe J. & Kathryn I (Schoneman) Miller in Aplington, IA. She was an avid quilter & was a member of several quilting groups. She was a former school bus driver for the Buffalo School District. She enjoyed card playing, reading & canoe trips with her husband, Wayne. She volunteered for many organizations.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne & brother Norman Miller.

Jean is survived by her children, Margaret (Ned) Brown, Randy Fox, Rickey Fox, David (Mona) Fox, Bradley (Pat) Fox, Nancy (William) Westman; 13 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Evelyn) Miller, Floyd (Tamara) Miller; sister, Constance (William) Buus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Phillips Eye Institute Foundation, 2215 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55404.

The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, assisted the family with arrangements.
