Visitation Information

Jean T. Nord, age 80, of Buffalo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away November 30, 2010 surrounded by her family after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Don; daughter, Denise; sons, Mitch (Beverly) and Bill (Traci); granddaughters, Delaney and Marissa; siblings, Shirley Brusseau, Donna (Conly) Hill, Marilyn Lipetzky, Patty (Rudy) Potesta, Bill (Sharon) Cregan and Jackie (Dave) Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine (Rooney) Cregan.

A Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, December 3, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo. The family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon immediately following the Mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a contribution in Jean’s name to a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the church.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo assisted the family with arrangements.
