Visitation Information

Jean L Paden, 79, of Buffalo, MN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 29, 2010.

She was born in Harrisburg, PA, in 1930, and soon after was adopted with her twin brother by loving parents Olive and Earl Dick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Robert L. Paden; her twin brother: Jack L. (Merion) Dick; her children: Barbara A. Paden and Jack L. Paden (Lisa); eight grandchildren: Joshua, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Diann (Matt), Emily, Zachariah, Jacob and Kaitlyn; eight great grandchildren: Tori, Grant, Dustin, Deborah, Kira, Kaylee, Carly and Lexi.

She is preceded in death by her sister Deloris.

In later years, Jean was able to reconnect with her birth siblings, Mary, Bill, and the late Phillip and Tom. She was able to have a 12 year relationship with her brothers and sister.

Jean worked for many years as an apartment manager where she worked closely with the Brooklyn Center Multi-Housing Association and the Brooklyn Center Police Department to improve the safety of her neighborhood.

A celebration of Jean’s life was held on Friday July 2, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo, with visitation one hour prior.

Interment: Camp Ripley Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
