Jason Stuart Angermeier, born on September 30, 1968, to Lawrence and Betty (Smith) in Edina, MN, left this world on December 17, 2023, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Surrounded by the love of family and friends, he passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and laughter.

Jason’s formative years were spent in Buffalo and Rockford, where he attended high school. For many years, Jason contributed his talents and dedication to Entegris, becoming a respected and valued member of the workplace community.

Known for his fun-loving personality and sense of humor, Jason had a way of brightening the room with his infectious laughter and “Jason jokes.” His jokes became a trademark, bringing smiles to those fortunate enough to share in his company.

One of Jason’s favorite pastimes was taking trips to explore the scenic beauty of Duluth, MN, and Mackinac Island, MI. His love for travel mirrored his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures and the wonders of the world around him.

A man of immense kindness and a big heart, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. Jason extended his warmth not only to people but also to his feline companions, treating his cats with the greatest love and care.

We extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the exceptional care and support provided by the transplant and nursing staff during his time at the hospital. Your dedication and compassion made a profound impact on him and our entire family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Scott.

Jason is survived by his sisters, Pam Luing, Monica (Dale) Kuka, and Tiffany Cole (partner, Brad Pomrenke); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to service at The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford, MN.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo, MN. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com.
