Jason Paul Ojalehto, age 22, of Monticello passed away on Saturday June 16th, 2012 from injuries he received from an automobile accident.
He was born on October 25, 1989 in Coon Rapids to Jerome & Cynthia Hillukka Ojalehto.
Jason graduated from Buffalo High School in 2008 and later attended St. Cloud State University.
He was employed in construction as a carpenter. Jason formerly worked in his family’s business Proview Lawn and Snow.
He enjoyed bow hunting, playing hockey, fishing and pheasant hunting.
He is survived by his parents: Jerome & Cynthia Ojalehto of Monticello; brothers: Matthew & Marcus both of Monticello; Special friend Alex Underwood of Big Lake; grandparents: Wesley & Florence Hillukka of Elk River and Thelma Ojalehto of Rogers; aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandfather: Paul Ojalehto and by cousins: Johanna Ojalehto and Sarah Makela.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21st at The Rockford Laestadian Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Jouko Haapsaari will officiate.
Interment will follow at The Cokato Finnish Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, June 20th from 5-9 P.M, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Further visitation will be at the church on Thursday morning, June 21st one hour prior to services.
Casket Bearers will be Matthew Ojalehto, Marcus Ojalehto, Chris Karvonen, Loren Parks, Nathan Jones and Aaron Raisanen.
