Janet Mae “Jan” Mann, age 75, of South Minneapolis entered her eternal life on Saturday, May 8th, 2010, at Redeemer Home in Minneapolis, MN.
Jan was born the daughter of Oskar and Mabel (Lindblad) Lindgren in Minneapolis, MN on January 21st, 1935.
On January 8th, 1954 Jan was united in marriage to Raymond “Ray” Mann at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.
Jan is survived by her loving family: husband Ray, children Rick (Laurie) Mann of Watertown, MN, Kim (Jay) Corcoran of Hudson, WI, Sue (Larry) Lamparske of South Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Matt (Becky), Rachel (Matt), Dan, Hannah, Tom, Hailey, Natalie, and Kaitlin; great-grandchildren: Jamison, Josiah, Kaden, and Jasmyn; brother: John (Pat) Lindgren of Bokeelia, FL; sister-in-law: Evelyn Flatum of Mora, MN; brother-in-law: Rollie Gartner; special family members: Meridee Banas and Travis (Shauntea) Hagen and his children.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; siblings: Phyllis Larsen, Bud Lindgren, Marilyn Gardner, Dickie Lindgren, and brother-in-law: Floyd Flatum.
Celebration of life service held Wednesday May 12th, 2010, 11:00 A.M. at Lebanon Lutheran Church, 2014 E. 36th St.,South Minneapolis.
Memorial gathering held Tuesday 4-7 P.M. at the CHURCH also one hour prior to the service.
The Peterson Chapel served the family.
