She loved to drive and the one job she held that she enjoyed the most was driving mail truck from Minneapolis to Willmar and then Minneapolis to Litchfield twice a day for 8 years. She bought and drove a motorcycle when she was in her 50’s. She enjoyed living in Buffalo and going to the lake to watch the birds and the beautiful sunsets. By the lake is where she also wrote poetry. Jane instilled the importance of family to her children and they were a very close family.
