James Frederick Bluhm, age 78, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was born November 19, 1941 in Ohio, the son of George and Bertha Bluhm.
Jim had a lifelong career in the printing industry until his retirement. He was a member of the Scandia Valley Lions Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Bluhm; aunt “mom”, Lucille Heischman; and great-grandson, Jaime Baker.
Jim is survived by his children, Jennifer (Tim) Baker, Scott (Christine) Bluhm; grandchildren, Luke (Isabelle) and Hannah Baker, Zachary, Jacob and Parker Bluhm; sister, Brenda Dickson; and other family and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

We are so, so sorry for your loss. Growing up Jim (Bud to us back then) was someone I really looked up to. Great athlete, avid outdoors man, fun to be around I wanted to be just like him! I couldn’t wait for our family get togethers so I could spend time with him. After Jim moved north from Ohio, got married and built a family, visits weren’t as frequent but when they happened they were a wonderful event , Jim never changed………….quiet, with a sarcastic sense of humor that was funny but never mean. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and rest assured Jim will be in our hearts forever.

Jim was always a family favorite. Everyone loved to be around him. And I love the picture in this memorial…I can just hear his dry sense of humor comments about that big catch :o) Will never forget spending time with him at the cabin, with Brenda, Bev, Aunt Jean, Renee and Candice. I think about sitting on the porch, listening to the loons at dusk. I’m sure the loons are calling him home.
