Visitation Information

Irene B. Eicher, age 89, of St. Michael passed away on Saturday, November 21st, 2009.

She was born on June 14, 1920 in Frankfort Township, Wright County the daughter of Joseph & Mary Zachman Gutzwiller.

On October 9, 1940, Irene B. Gutzwiller & Lambert M. Eicher were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. God blessed their marriage with four children.

Irene was a faithful, lifelong member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and belonged to its Christian Mothers.

She enjoyed canning, dancing and playing cards.
Irene especially enjoyed her grandchildren!

Survived by children: Yvonne (Eugene) Berg of Eveleth, Barbara (Kenneth) Belchak of Swatara, Donald (Bonnie) Eicher of St. Michael & Dennis (Charlotte) Eicher of Monticello; fourteen grand children & twenty six great grandchildren; a brother: Joseph (Joanne) Gutzwiller of Elk River; sisters: Imelda Eicher of Brooklyn Park and Helen (Ray) Meyers of Albertville; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of sixty four years Lambert M. Eicher, a grandson & a great grandson, her parents: Joseph & Mary Gutzwiller and by three brothers: Earl, Lester & Jim Gutzwiller.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Irene Eicher will be held at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 24th at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.

Readers will be Barb Belchak and Gene Berg.

Gift Bearers will be Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24th from 3-6 P.M. at the Church.

Honorary Casket Bearer is Stephen Berg.

Casket Bearers will be David Belchak, Mark Belchak, Tim Belchak, Cory Eicher, Jed Eicher, Jared Eicher, Josh Eicher.

The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home served the family.

    I am sorry to learn about the death of Irene Eicher. This must have been a difficult time for all. Therefore, I am forwarding scripture to bring solace. Please, read the following scriptures: Psalm 90:10, Genesis 5:3-32 and Hebrews 9:27.
