Henry “Hank” Howard Frieler, age 80, of St. Michael passed away on September 6, 2022, at North Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Henry was born at home in New Munich, MN on March 14, 1942, to Edwin & Monica (Wensman) Frieler. Hank honorably served his Country in The United States Army. Hank was united in marriage to Dianne B. Kuklok on June 24, 1967, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole, MN.  God blessed their marriage with five children. Hank was employed for many years as a welder, working for Mereen Johnson, and Five Star Welding. Hank enjoyed teasing the grandchildren, playing cards, and fishing. Hank was also a huge Green Bay Packer and Twins fan.  Left to cherish in his memory, his loving wife of 55 years: Dianne; children: Annette (Michael) Kostreba of St. Joseph, Dean Frieler (Jenelle O’Brien) of Buffalo, Kristy Laufenberg (John Radford) of Wayzata, Chad Frieler of St. Michael, and Ryan (Julie) Frieler of New Brighton; grandchildren; Alyssa Anderson, Cortney & Callie Kostreba, Andrew & Noah Frieler, Hunter & Taylor Robarge, Mason Laufenberg, Ethan, Nolan, & Paxton Frieler, siblings: Arlene Desombre, Carol Pemberton, Virginia (John) Nathe, William (Betty) Frieler, Sandra (Allen) Jostock, and Kevin (Patricia) Frieler. Stepmother in law June Kuklok. Preceding him in death, his parents, sister Joan Hoppe, brothers-in-law Edmund Hoppe, Loren Pemberton, David Dombrovski, infant twin brothers Tim & Tom. In-laws Cyril and Bridgette Kuklok. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 16th, 2022, St. Michael Catholic Church, 11300 Frankfort Parkway N.E., in St. Michael, MN.  Visitation AT THE CHURCH Friday, September 16th from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass. Interment with military rites at Camp Ripley.
