There is a sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness,
    but of power.
    They speak more eloquently
    than 10,000 tongues.
    They are the messengers
    of overwhelming grief,
    of deep contrition,
    and of unspeakable love.

    Carrie,
I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family at this most difficult time.

    When God calls our children
    to dwell with Him above,
    We mortals sometimes question
    the wisdon of His love.
    For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world,
    seem so wonderful and mild.
    Perhaps God tires of calling
    the aged to His fold.
    So He picks a rosebud
    before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven
    more beautiful to view.
    Believing this is difficult
    still somehow we must try.
    The saddest word mankind knows
    will always be Good-bye.
So when a little child departs,
    we who are left behind,
    Must realize God loves children.

Carrie and Tim, We don’t know you but Colten & Hayden were in kindergarten and 2nd grade together. As a family who has experienced the same heartache, losing a child is the WORST posible thing a family can endure. Hayden’s tragedy has brought back memories day by day as if we were living our same nightmare over again. These days to come are going to be the hardest to even comprehend, but remember God is walking with you every step of the way. LEAN ON HIM along with your family and friends. We are praying you all will find peace to get through each day. Please contact us if we can be of any help to either of you.
