Glover, Harry A., age 88 of Rockford, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away quietly January 6, 2015. Born September 3, 1926.

Survived by his children, Ed Glover, Jack (Lee) Glover, Bill (Sue) Glover, Laura (Steve) Swarthout, Bob (Sue) Glover; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Alvin Glover, Walter (Gerri) Glover; sisters, Dolores Boughton, Diane (Tom) Perbix; and extended family and many friends.

Preceded in death by wife Gail; parents George and Ruth Glover; sisters Florence Hoeschen and Mildred Caples; daughter-in-law Sally Glover; grandchild Phillip Glover.

Harry was a WWII Veteran, Motor Machinist Mate 3rd Class, served in Okinawa in motor pool supply; disabled during the war; married Betty Kennedy in 1947, lived in Minneapolis and had 5 children, Ed, Jack, Bill, Laura, Bob. Betty and Harry divorced in 1973. Harry was a carpenter his whole career; member of Carpenters Union Local No. 7, and worked in residential construction and remodeling. Met Gail Loberg and married in 1973 in Sisseton, SD and lived in Anoka with Gail. Gail had 4 children from her previous marriage. Harry and Gail moved up north to Hoyt Lakes where they lived for 25 years. Gail and Harry moved to Buffalo where Gail died from cancer in 2007 and then Harry moved to Rockford with his son Ed and daughter in law Sally where he lived until medical issues placed him in the VA Nursing Home in St. Cloud. Harry enjoyed camping, fishing and boating with family and many friends.
Harry was proud of and enjoyed spending time with his children and Grandchildren: Jenny Rish, Shawn Glover, Christine Glover, Jeri Wambeke, Joe Wambeke, Jared Glover, Tim Wambeke, Sarah (Kyle) Kopczyk, Madalyn Glover, Brad Glover, Megan Glover, Dalton Glover; Great Grandchildren:, Kylen Rish, Katelynd Wambeke, Ethan Heskin, Kaden Rish, Nathan Manning, Andrew Kopczyk

Funeral Services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 County Road 6, Long Lake, MN 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 15, 2015. Visitation is 1 hour before the funeral. Burial at Fort Snelling Cemetery, 2:00 PM
