Visitation Information

Harold Edwin Bjorklund, age 78, of rural Buffalo passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

He was born in Rockford Township, Wright County on April 12, 1931 the son of Arthur & Mathilda (Michaelis) Bjorklund.

Harold owned and operated for many years Bjorklund Trucking and The Buffalo Quality Feed Mill.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and was especially fond of his two dogs “Trixie” and “Susie”.

Harold is survived by his friend: Cheryl; his children: Bruce (Debi) Bjorklund of Buffalo and Wanda (Sunil) Sapatnekar of Wayzata; two grandchildren: Keshav & Kiran Sapatnekar; sisters: Myrtle Fadden of Buffalo and Ruth Bjorklund of Yuma, Arizona; brothers and sisters-in-law: Clarence (Priscilla) Bjorklund and Paul (Kathleen) Bjorklund all of Buffalo; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters and sisters-in-law: Clinton Bjorklund, Edmere Allums, Marvin (Florence) Bjorklund, Willard “Bob” (Arlene) Bjorklund, Helen (Maurice) Fadden, Clara Penticoff and Esther (Bert) Bruce and wife: Rosann.

Funeral services for Harold Bjorklund will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 10:00 A.M. at The Buffalo Evangelical Covenant Church. Interment Swedish Mission Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
Prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M.

Further visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd one hour prior to services at the church.

Casket Bearers will be Dale & Richard Fadden, Don Larson, Stanley Berglund, John Olson, Bruce Schmidt and Calvin “Butch” Bjorklund.
