Gwen Leone Luce (Jorgenson), age 63 of Annandale, formerly Buffalo, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was born November 1, 1955 in Blue Earth, the daughter of Bernard and Leona (Bakke) Jorgenson.

Gwen was baptized at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago, MN and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Buffalo, MN.

Gwen was a 1974 graduate of Buffalo High School. She was a dedicated worker at General Mills for 27 years.

Gwen was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, cribbage and bingo, and she enjoyed a good glass of beer and a good time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Leona Jorgenson; sisters, Carolyn Ertel, Judi DeMarais; and nephew, Michael LaPlant.

Gwen will be deeply missed by her daughter, Amber Luce; siblings, Arlys (Bill) LaPlant, Jim (Char) Jorgenson, Tom (Cathy) Jorgenson; brother-in-law, Gary DeMarais; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM, at The Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Ave, Buffalo, MN. Interment following at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
