Gwen (Bourgoyne)Kocon, age 79, of Albertville was born June 23, 1923 in Isle, MN and passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014.

Preceded in death by parents Leo and Alma Bourgoine.

Gwen is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years Frank; children Jane (Bill) Klein, Wendy Jo (Dale) Sedlacek and Paul (Wendy) Kocon; granddaughters Jenna and Kelsey Kocon; brother Bruce (Patty) Bourgoyne; also many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Univ. of MN Hospital’s physicians, nurses and the aides for the care and love shown to Gwen, what an amazing group.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the St. Michael Catholic School.

Visitation will be Tues., Nov. 4 from 4-8 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel in St. Michael.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church of St. Albert’s, 11400 57th St NE, Albertville. Rosary service will also be held Wed. 9:40 am at church.

Interment in the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
