Guy Preston Dean III, age 91 of Princeton, MN, formerly Rogers, MN, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018. He was born in Yonkers, New York on December 20, 1926 to Guy Preston Dean II and Mabel (Palmer).
Guy graduated from Stroudsburg High School in Pennsylvania. He worked his whole career working various positions with Pennsylvania Power and Light Company. He was a faithful member of Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. Guy was also Past Master of the Barger Masonic Lodge 0325 in Stroudsburg, PA.
Guy was an avid model ship builder and enjoyed sailing, photography, reading, camping, spending time with his great-grandchildren, get-togethers with neighborhood friends and Friday night chats and scotch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Mabel Dean II; wife, Patricia (Gehris) Dean; daughter, Renee Dean; and brother, Richard P. Dean.
Guy is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Hill; grandchildren, Matt (Laura) Hill, Andrea Bren; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Kallie, Dalton, Marcee; and his beloved Shih Tzus, Dolly and Molly.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main St N, St. Michael, MN.
