Gloriann E. Kessler, age 69, of St. Michael died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

She was born on May 23, 1938 in Minneapolis the daughter of Elmer & Edith Johnson Sabo.

On July 6, 1968, Gloriann E. Sabo and Wayne J. Kessler were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. God blessed their marriage with a son.

Gloriann worked for forty eight years in the Banking Industry. She was Vice President of The Trust Department at 1st Bank-USbank.

She was a member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.

Survived by loving husband of thirty nine years: Wayne J. Kessler; a son: James W. Kessler of St. Michael; a sister: Marilyn (Carl) Gates of Pequot Lakes; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Esther Kessler of St. Michael, Lois (Eugene) Zachman of Albertville, William (Patricia) Kessler and Beverly Kessler all of St. Michael, John (Marlene) Kessler of Albertville, Kate (Ray) Daleiden of St. Michael and Paul (Joyce) Kessler of Zimmerman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents: Elmer & Edith Sabo, sisters-in-law: Ardis Schleif and Virginia Kessler and by a brother-in-law: Dale Kessler.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gloriann Kessler was held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 1st at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. Father Michael Becker was the Celebrant. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home in St. Michael from 4-8 P.M. A Prayer service was held at 7:00 P.M.

Casket Bearers were Mark Kessler, Kurt Kessler, Karl Kessler, Bill Kessler, Steve Kessler and John Kessler Jr.

Memorials are suggested for The Lung Association of Minnesota or to The American Cancer Society.
