Gloria Jean Paulson, age 68, of Montrose, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at her home in Montrose, MN.

Gloria Jean Paulson was born February 10, 1942 in Terrace, Minnesota to Albert and Pearl (Thompson) Christianson. She grew up in the Starbuck, Minnesota area and graduated from Starbuck, High School.

Gloria was united in marriage to Reginald Paulson on August 13, 1960. The family lived in several towns across Minnesota before settling in Montrose in 1970.

Gloria worked at Ebenezer Care Center for over 17 years. She enjoyed reading, dogs, horses, and Elvis. One of her favorite trips was to Graceland. Gloria loved the country and trees. Her family meant everything to her. She hardly ever missed a sporting event that her grandchildren were involved in. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Gloria is survived by her children; Richard (Kim)Paulson of Maple Lake, Robbie (Lynn) Paulson of St. Michael, RoxAnne (Jim) Weege of Annandale, Greg (Jessica) Paulson of Winsted, 8 grandchildren; Allan, Ryan, Brad, Walker, Ben, Luke, Olivia, and Samantha, 2 great grandchildren; Jack and Peyton. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Christianson of Sauk Centre.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Pearl Christianson, husband Reginald in 1999, son Rodney in 2009, and 11 siblings.

Funeral Services will be Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo with Rev. Ted Vanderpan officiating. Visitation will be Sunday October 10, 2010 4pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Visitation will continue on Monday at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Buffalo.

Casket bearers were Marv Hanson, Randy Noyes, Byron Iverson, Earl Christianson, Lyle Paulson, Don Paulson and Jack Wynn.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo Assisted the family with arrangements.
