Gerald J. Robinson, age 76 of Buffalo, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Lake Ridge Care Center.

Gerald John was born on December 24, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to Annesley and Virginia (Thorton) Robinson. He entered the US Marine Corps on February 14, 1952 and served until January 28, 1954. On November 10, 1961 he married Jane (nee Rieland) and they later divorced. On May 23, 1980 he married Doryce (nee Johnson). Gerald worked for various printing firms and retired from Midwest Printing after working for them for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, traveling and driving, camping, sunning, and attending car, boat, and RV shows. He enjoyed spending time with Doryce at their lake place on Stump Lake, near Bemidji.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Doryce; daughter, Tina (Rob) Woods, Blaine; sons: Tim Robinson, Blaine, and David (Lucy) Robinson, Phoenix, AZ; step-son, Mark (Julie) Zimmerman, Big Lake; grandchildren: Tim, Janelle, Hannah, David Jr., Tierney, Gabrielle, Danielle, Cori, and Robbie; two great-grandchildren; many in-laws, friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Robinson and Emmett Jack Robinson.

The Memorial Service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church. The visitation will start at the church at 10:00 A.M.

    Doris so so sorry about Jerry. He was a good guy. My sister is going thru the same thing.It was nice to see all the picturesof your family with Jerry,those are the memories you can keep and look back on. always judy.
