Gerald Raymond LaFave Jr. “Gunner” age 43 of Buffalo died Sunday, January 25, 2009 in Marysville Township.
He was born on September 6, 1965 in Monticello the son of Gerald G. & Judy Marquette LaFave.
Gunner graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1984.
On October 3, 1998, Gerald R. “Gunner” LaFave & Kellie A. Kisner were joined in holy marriage at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monticello by Pastor Engel.
He was employed as a semi-truck driver for Latour Construction. He also belonged to Operating Engineers Local #49.
Gunner enjoyed tractor pulling, deer hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.
Survived by loving wife: Kellie A. LaFave; children: Zachary Kisner, Samantha LaFave and Ashley LaFave all at home; his parents: Gerald G. & Judy LaFave of Maple Lake; brothers and sisters: Robert (Donna) LaFave of Monticello, Joseph (Suzie) LaFave and Thomas (Heidi) LaFave all of Buffalo, Dale (Linda) LaFave of St. Cloud, Darrel LaFave of Cokato, Donald LaFave of Maple Lake, Chris (Harlan) Mauk of Howard Lake and Jeanne LaFave of Maple Lake and special friend Kyle Dye; maternal grandfather: Floyd “Bud” Marquette of Maple Lake; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Roger & Betty Kisner of Buffalo; brother-in-law: Steven Kisner of Buffalo; sister-in-law: Jennifer (Jason) Klein of Watkins; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by maternal grandmother: Doris Marquette, paternal grandparents: Leo & Marie LaFave, uncles: Edward and Fred LaFave.

Funeral services for Gerald “Gunner” LaFave will be held on Friday, January 30th at 4:00 P.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Christian Bode will officiate. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Prayer service will be held at 4:30 P.M.
Further visitation will be held at the church on Friday, January 30th one hour prior to services.
Casket Bearers will be Robert LaFave, Joseph LaFave, Thomas LaFave, Dale LaFave, Darrel LaFave, Donald LaFave, Timothy LaFave and Daryl LaPlant.
