Genevieve G. Olson, Born December 15, 1922 – Passed away September 9, 2021 at the age of 98 years old. Survived by daughters: Kathy (Ken) Lunderby and Karylanne (Daniel) Marchand; a daughter-in-law: Carol Olson of Brainerd; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister: Marlys Hinch. Preceded in death by husband Eugene Olson, sons Kris Olson, Jim (Karen) Olson and Bill Olson, special friend Stanley Kenning, six sisters and four brothers. Private Interment at Baxter, MN Cemetery. Special thank you to Park View Care Center of Buffalo, MN for seven years of exceptional care.
Jenny cut my hair all through grade school and was my moms best friend when we moved to Brainerd in 1952, Edith Hummel. Haven’t seen her in a long time but have fond memories. She will be missed. Bob Hummel.

I have many memories of Maple St. Do you remember when we had measles and weren’t supposed to be exposed to bright light and your mom came in and threw a fit when she caught us looking out the window? I remember her cautioning us about not getting into cars with strangers. I lost my mom about 2 years ago. She was 100. My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom.
