Gayle Marie Landt (Rud) Beloved daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother, born May 18, 1951, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2017 after a battle with brain cancer. Gayle was compassionate and creative and made her home a welcoming place with her talent for cooking and decorating. Gayle loved her family and enjoyed babysitting her youngest grandchild, Sienna Grace. Gayle took up quilting a few years ago when she retired and was a quick learner. She made beautiful quilts for many members of the family.
Gayle had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and suffered her illness with grace as she prepared to meet her Lord.
“I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.” Philippians 4:11
“I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, and in His word do I hope.” Psalm 130:5
Preceded in death by father Carroll Rud, brother Daniel Rud, and son Andrew Warner.
Survived by mother Adeline Rud, husband James Landt, sister Sharon Covey, brother Richard Rud and sister-in-law Sue Rud, sister Doreen Ondracek and brother-in-law Bill Ondracek; children: daughter Cassandra Gray and son-in-law Peter Gray, son John Landt and daughter-in-law Venessa Landt, son Jason Warner and daughter-in-law Mary Warner, son Jeff Landt and daughter-in-law Julie Landt, daughter Jen Landt, and daughter Suzanna Hoover and son-in-law Grant Hoover, as well as grandchildren Henry and Jackson Gray, Zach and Ryan Landt, Valentino Faulkner and Titan and Sienna Hoover.
Funeral Service Friday May 5, 2017 at Buffalo Covenant Church, 1601 MN-25, Buffalo, MN 55313. Visitation 10:00am – 12:00pm, service at 12:00pm, a lunch to follow services.
Memorials preferred: St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

    I am a Valet at Buffalo Hospital & greeted Gayle on her visits to the hospital.
