Garen L. Gossman, age 69, of St. Michael, MN, passed away on August 23, 2010.
He was born in Decorah, IA, on May 10, 1941, the son of Joseph and Ellen Henry Gossman.
Garen was raised in Harmony, MN, and graduated from Harmony High School. He later attended and graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Business and Accounting.
On December 27, 1970, he was joined in holy marriage in Hannaford, ND, to Marilyn F. Beattie. God blessed their marriage with a son.
Garen was formerly employed as an accountant for 25 years at Unisys Corporation. He enjoyed all sports, especially golfing and fishing. Garen also enjoyed traveling.
Survived by his loving wife: Marilyn; son: Joseph J. (Darla) Gossman of Minnetonka, MN, grandson: Garen Gossman; brother: Kevin (Faline) Gossman of Rochester, MN; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and by a brother: Lane Gossman.
Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 28th at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael.
Visitation at the funeral home on Friday, August 27th from 6-8 P.M. Prayer service 7:00 P.M.
