Gail Beth Kelter, age 67 current resident of St. Michael, MN, and originally from Milwaukee, WI, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was born February 10, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Orville and Ruth (Junge) Giesenschlag.
She was a 1971 graduate from Brookfield East High School in Brookfield, WI. She worked at FM Global for 38 years in the Milwaukee and Minneapolis offices.
Gail was someone you would never forget, being a loyal friend and always willing to help.
She enjoyed playing bar bingo, bowling league, crafting, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She was the biggest animal lover and an even bigger Packers fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Ruth; siblings-in-law, Barb Giesenschlag and Mark Hayes; and best friend, Gayle Gruendler-Timm.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Christina Kelter, Samantha (Hamman) Kelter, Alexandria Kelter (Joe Alexander), Danielle (Nehrenz) Kelter; granddaughter, Addison; siblings, Tom Giesenschlag, Lynn (Giesenschlag) Hayes, Lee Giesenschlag (Kathy), Jack Giesenschlag (Cathy), Roy Giesenschlag (Colleen); and beloved dogs, Tyson and Stubbie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gail’s name are preferred to the ASPCA -American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
My husband, Chuck Kugel, worked with Gail for many years. I recall that he had great respect for all her contributions to Factory Mutual. She will be missed.

Gail was a second mom to myself over my years of growing up with her youngest daughter. She always new how to put a smile on my face. Always made me feel like one of her own. I love you and you will be missed dearly. GO PACK GO. Till Valhalla

Our hearts and prayers are with all the family and friends of Gail, we lost her much too soon. Gail was more than a friend, she will always be part of our family and missed so dearly. Gail was the first person we met when we moved to Minnesota in 1997. She worked along side Hamid and was the heart of engineering in the Minneapolis office of FM Global. Thinking of Gail always brings a smile and she will always be remembered for her enthusiasm, love of people, humor, and kind hearty. Gail beamed when she smiled and lifted the spirits of everyone around her. Gail is irreplaceable and we shall love her and her girls always:

How sad it is to lose someone before their time. I never met Gail Kelter but being as close as we have been, especially when my mother died, I’ve seen you use a number of talents, skills or what have you that you learned from your mother. What a talented woman she was. She instilled in you a lot of creativity along with logic.
If we could only be happy with the time we had instead of feeling robbed. There is so much more to learn and she gave you the right building blocks to create the world you desire. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your friends.
I don’t know what made be goggle Gail. We were childhood friends. Same church, Resurrection and then Craig Grade School. Her family moved and we didn’t see each other anymore. At the time though she was my best friend. I am so happy to know she had a happy life. God bless her.
