Francis J. “Frank” Fouquette, age 82, of rural Buffalo passed away on Monday, October 22nd, 2012.
He was born on August 5, 1930 in MapleLake the son of Eli and Elizabeth Paumen Fouquette.
On June 9, 1953, Francis J. Fouquette & Shirley Ann Marquette were joined in holy marriage at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Frank was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo and also belonged to the Buffalo Gun Club.
He served as Chatham Township Treasurer for thirty-six years. Frank also taught welding at AnokaTechnicalCollege for twenty-one years.
Survived by sons: Thomas (Lisa) Fouquette and Richard (Peggy) Fouquette; daughters: Louise (Dwight) Filipek, Mary Kortum and Amy Fouquette all of Buffalo; grandchildren: Christopher Fouquette, Aaron (Angie) Fouquette, Miranda Filipek, Elsa Fouquette, Ryan Fouquette, Alison Kortum, Tony Fouquette and Angie Kortum; great granddaughter: Isabel Fouquette; a sister-in-law: Dolores Fouquette; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his wife: Shirley A. Fouquette on June 25, 2011, his parents, an infant son on November 9, 1955, a grandson: Benjamin Fouquette on August 6, 2010, a sister: Lois Hudek and by brothers: Maurice and Melvin Fouquette.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Francis J. “Frank” Fouquette will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. Father David Hennen will be the Celebrant.
Entombment will follow at St.FrancisCemetery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 26th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Further visitation will be held on Saturday morning, October 27th one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Tony and Ryan Fouquette.
Casket Bearers will be Aaron Fouquette, Chris Fouquette, Elsa Fouquette, Miranda Filipek, Angela Kortum, Alison Kortum, Angela Fouquette and Ken Vanderheyden.
