Cowen, Frances Kehrer Irmen, 78, of Delano passed away on February 19, 2010. She was the loving wife of the late George Cowen and devoted sister of the late Marie Kehrer. Mother of son Rex Irmen, she is survived by her brothers William Kehrer (Lucille) of Bellevue, WA and Richard of South Pasadena, FL. She is also survived by Philip Cowen of Maywood, IL, Jane (Richard) Schoen of Oak Park, IL and Christopher (Sara) Cowen of St. Paul, their children and many nieces and nephews. Fran will be remembered for her intelligence and her love of all creatures, great and small. We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Sunrise Cottages in Buffalo, MN and Fairview Home Care and Hospice for their care and attention during the final steps of Fran’s life journey. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 14th at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN, 55409. Friends and family will gather at 2 PM with a service at 3 PM.
