Florian R. Piehowski, age 85, of Albertville, MN, passed away on Friday May 28th, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.

Florian was born on May 1st, 1925 in Little Falls, MN, the son of August and Julia (Ringwelski) Piehowski.

Florian was united in marriage to Barbara Kandels at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls on September 4th, 1948.

Florian is survived by his loving family: wife, Barb, children, Judy (Ross) Nelson of Crystal, MN, Deb (Jim) Fanta of Lodi, WI, David (Helen) Piehowski of Maplewood, MN, Dennis (Connie) Piehowski of Genoa, IL, Joe (Christine) Piehowski of Fridley, MN, grandchildren, Kimberly (Tyrone) Gerloff, Justin (Susan) Piehowski, Paul (Meredith) Piehowski, Kathryn Piehowski, Victoria Piehowski, D.J. Piehowski, Thomas Piehowski, Alex Piehowski, Harrison Piehowski and Claire Piehowski, great-grandchildren Casey Piehowski and Cecilia Piehowski, sisters-in-law, Betty Piehowski and Bernice Piehowski.

Preceded in death by: parents, August and Julia, siblings, Theresa (Ray) Heigl, Chris Piehowski, Gertrude (Blaze) Mrozek, Phil (Phyllis) Piehowski, Phyllis (John) Mrozek, Clarence Piehowski and John Piehowski.

Mass of Christian Burial held Wednesday June 2nd, 2010, at 10:30 A.M., St. Albert Catholic Church in Albertville, MN.

Visitation held Tuesday 5-7 P.M. at the CHURCH, also one hour prior to Mass.

Interment is at the State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls.
