Evelyn E. Ferris, age 75 of Buffalo, MN passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church, Buffalo, MN.
Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN. Visitation also one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Interment St. Francis Cemetery, Buffalo, MN.
Evelyn was born on July 12, 1938 to Joseph & Anna (Tellers) Beckers in Watkins, MN. She graduated from St. Boniface Catholic High School in 1956. She worked at Honeywell in assembly production. She married James Ferris on May 8, 1965 in Watkins, MN. Following their marriage they lived near Buffalo, MN.
Evelyn enjoyed card making, crafts, cross stitching, reading & gardening. She was a Twins fan & enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes. She was a member of the Resurrection Choir from St. Francis Catholic Church. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Anna Beckers, brothers, Wendilln Beckers, Norb Beckers, Ewald Beckers, Edward Beckers & sister, Armella Madden.
She is survived by her husband, James Ferris; children, James Ferris Jr., Scott (Sandi) Ferris, Shelly Ferris, Chad Ferris; grandchildren, Krista Ferris, Kellie Ferris, Anna Ferris, Josie Ferris, Cody Ferris &Travis Ferris; one great-grandchild, Kinsley; brothers, Greg Beckers & Al Beckers; sisters, Cindy Nistler & Luella Roach.
