Eva Lynn Winkelman, age 68, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14th, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on November 25, 1947 in Watertown the daughter of Tom and Dora (Conzet) Dixon. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1965.

On September 28, 1968, Eva Dixon and Jim Winkelman were joined in holy marriage in Mound, MN.

She formerly worked at Tonka Toys and provided Day Care Services for many children for 35 years.
Eva enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a very encouraging and loving person! She was a past Girl Scout Leader and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survived by loving husband: Jim Winkelman; children: Lorena, Wilbur, November, Shaunta and James Winkelman; two grandchildren: Peyton and Logan; sisters: Ann Yonak, Sophie Simar and Leona Knudsvig; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents and by three brothers-in-law.

Funeral services for Eva Winkelman will be held on Friday, August 19th at 11:00 A.M. at Riverwood Covenant Church, 7189 69th Avenue N., in Greenfield/Rockford. Pastor Keith Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow immediately at Elmwood Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Further visitation will be held on Friday morning, August 19th one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for The American Cancer Society.
