Eunice Elizabeth Satterlund, age 82, of St. Michael and formerly of Edina, passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on November 30, 1930 in Morristown, Minnesota the daughter of George & Elvira Battin Edwards.

On December 16, 1950, Eunice E. Edwards and Roger L. Satterlund were joined in holy marriage at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with five children.

Through the years, Eunice was formerly employed as a switch board operator at Sears, worked at Woolworths, White Way Cleaners and for Hennepin County.

Survived by loving children: Kristie Horstmann (Paul) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, David Satterlund of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mark Satterlund of Burlington, Washington, Mary Satterlund of St. Michael, Minnestoa and Jim Satterlund (Gretchen) of Owatonna, Minnesota; six grandchildren; siblings: Thelma Smith of Villages, Florida and Keith Edwards of Blaine, Minnesota; sisters-in-law: Helen Edwards and Arlene Edwards; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband: Roger, her parents, an infant sister: Virginia, a sister: Florence Gardner and by brothers: Don and Kenneth.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 1:30 P.M. at Life in Christ Lutheran Church, 5015 Main Avenue N.E., in Albertville. Pastor Michael Trask will officiate.

Interment Wednesday morning, March 20th Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
