- August 1, 1932 – December 12, 2019Eugene L. Mutterer age 87, of Rockford. Lifelong, faithful member of Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford where he was baptized, confirmed and married. Survived by his loving wife: Arlene; children: Connie (Duane) Brown and Paul (Diane) Mutterer; grandchildren: Tanya (Peter) Ketcham, Ryan Brown, Steven Mutterer, Ben (Kristin) Sanderson & Sarah (Andrew) Jones; great grandchildren: Ada & June Ketcham and Benjamin Sanderson; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Esther Mutterer and by his brothers Leonard and Carl Mutterer. Funeral Service 12 Noon Monday, December 16th at Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford. Visitation AT THE CHURCH Monday, December 16th two hours prior to services.
