Berning, Esther H. age 83, of St. Michael. Survived by loving husband of sixty-two years, Lowell F. Berning; a daughter, Patty (Gene) Reddemann of Wilsonville, OR; two sons, Bruce (Jeaneen) Berning of Annandale and Mark (Sue) Berning of St. Michael; a daughter-in-law, Judy Berning of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rosetta (Fritz) Swanberg, LaVerne (Merle) Dahlheimer, Alice Eicher and Lenore (Howard) Eicher; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a son, Kenneth M. Berning; her parents, Alois & “Tillie” Kasper; a brother, Lloyd “Buddy” Kasper and a sister, Luella Dick. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday 4-8 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 7 PM. Further visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning one hour prior to Mass.
