Ervin Andrew Bruner, age 88 of St. Michael, was born in Cold Spring, MN and died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Dec. 25, 2014. Praise the Lord that he was home for Christmas with Jesus!
Erv is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Delphine; children Thomas (Rebecca), John (Bernice), Mary (Gordy) Lindenfelser, Joan (Jake) Jordan, James (Linda), Peter (Michelle) and Paul; 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brother Michael (Rita) and sister Lorraine Hentges; He is preceded in death by parents Michael & Clara; brothers Bob and Lloyd; granddaughter Holly Elizabeth Bruner; great grandson Thomas Joseph Banagasco.
Ervin was a WW II vet, a retired Mpls. Star-Tribune printer and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He was active in the American Legion, the St. Michael Catholic Endowment Fund, Serra Club and various church & community groups. Erv loved the Lord, his wife & family, friends, his community, sports and cribbage.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Michael Catholic Endowment Fund or Crescent Cove (children’s hospice).
Visitation will be Mon., Dec. 29 from 4-8 pm with a prayer service at 7:45 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues. Dec. 30 at 11 am with visitation starting at 9:30 am also at St. Michael Catholic Church,11300 Frankfort Parkway NE, St. Michael.
Interment at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

You are in our thoughts and prayers in your loss of Erv! I always enjoyed seeing and talking to you both in the Cold Spring Bakery! The last time I visited with Erv he told me he was sick but he was going to keep doing things.
