Elsie C. Wilken, age 100, of Milaca, passed away Saturday, at Heritage House where she had been living for the last 6 years.
Elsie was born to Ernest and Ella Vollrath Wolff on March 31, 1911. She was married twice and outlived her husband each time. Elsie and her first husband had 2 sons and her son Ralph Bechtle survives.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Frank Bechtle, second husband Edward Wilken, sisters, brothers and a son.
Elsie is survived by her son Ralph (Linda) Bechtle, 2 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Elsie will be held at 2:00 pm. Friday October 14, 2011 at the Peterson Chapel 300 Main Street St. Michael, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Friday October 14, 2011 at the Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, Minnesota. Interment for Elsie will be in the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Greenfield, Minnesota.
The Peterson Chapel St. Michael/Albertville is assisting the family with arrangements.
